Crash keyboard poetry workshop
R.G. Gözüm (Turkey): A new way for recycling e-waste

Human rights activist, camerawoman, video artist and VJ, R.G. Gösüm has been growing an increasing interest and consciousness about e-waste. She’s found a really practical, creative way of spreading the word. In this workshop, R.G. will inform you about the problems caused by e-waste, explain which valuable and hazardous materials it’s made of, and talk about different methods of disposing and recycling it. Then everybody takes a screwdriver and starts recycling! R.G. uses old keyboards as an example of common e-waste that can easily be turned into solid pieces of glowing poetry, while discovering and exploring its anatomy. The workshop will include both local and Turkish trash, and promises an educative creative mess.

On the workshop we will use the tools on the photography, if you have any at home, please bring them!
